Welcome to the 711team
In this blog series, we would like to try to describe in more detail what makes 711media special and why we are happy to be part of this team:
It is undoubtedly a challenge to describe an emotion and a WE-feeling in a text. The best place to start is with a question that we've probably all asked ourselves at some point: "Why do we do what we do?"
In a professional context, the answer to this question can vary, people are different - but what makes a group of people a team? If we were to ask our employees: "Describe your team in one sentence, what do we all have in common?", the answer would probably be something like: "We are all enthusiastic experts in our field."
It is this enthusiasm that drives and inspires us every day.
Our customers' success is our success. We are always on the lookout for new ways to not only achieve the goals set by our customers, but in the best case to expand or exceed them. Every day is an opportunity to become even better together as a team.
But what does that mean in detail?
Respect forms the basis. Our diversity is positive and enriching. We bring different perspectives, backgrounds and lifestyles to the table. But what unites us is our passion for what we do and our respect and appreciation for each other. That's why it doesn't matter how you dress, how old you are, what educational background you have or haven't followed - because you are a valuable part of our team.
With us, you will find your place and can develop in the way that is right for you. It is important to us that you share your experiences and ideas with us. We listen, learn from each other and become a little better together every day.
Life is constantly changing, and so is your workplace. For us, work-life balance is not just an empty phrase. We do everything we can to support our employees. For example, some of us work part-time to spend more time with their family or pursue their hobbies such as photography or music. Others work some days from home or completely remotely, because every minute they don't have to spend in traffic is valuable time. Still others come to our central office every day to spend the day together with their team. We support you in choosing the working environment that best suits your life.
When you come into the office, you will also meet Nika. As the 711media office dog, she checks who has the best lunch in their bag and is also happy to sit in on longer meetings. Nika is also the only one who is allowed to fall asleep.
We firmly believe that curiosity and motivation are the most important drivers of professional development. For this reason, we are happy to promote young talent as trainees, interns or working students, as we will continue to rely on creative, strategic and analytical skills in the future.
We believe that first-class talent can be found anywhere and that a degree from a prestigious university and an unbroken CV are not decisive factors. Some of our colleagues have worked in completely different industries and professions before joining 711media. And it is precisely this diversity of experience and the ways of thinking it inspires that enable us to think unconventionally and break new ground.
